What we Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.  There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4).  He is the creator of heaven and earth and of all living beings.  He has revealed Himself as the Father (Creator), in the only begotten Son (Saviour), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).  His name?  His Name is Jesus!

We believe in the Pentecostal experience.  The day of Pentecost was observed in Jerusalem fifty days after the celebration of the Passover, which commemorated Israel's deliverance out of Egypt.  It is significant that this day was chosen by God to begin the fulfillment of Joel 2:28: "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh . . ."  The Spirit came upon the waiting, praying disciples in an overwhelming manner. (Acts 2:1)  The Spirit-filled early church witnessed many outstanding miraculous happenings.  (Acts 3:1-7, 4:31).  They were able to lead victorious lives as a result of their Pentecostal experience.  This experience is still available today for anyone who is willing to obey the scriptures.

We believe full salvation is faith in God, repentance of ones sins, baptism by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.

In light of this salvation, we believe in the soon return of Jesus Christ to rapture the church.  We believe "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first . . .

We also believe that "we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thess 4:16-17)

Sunday 4:00 PM Sunday Worship  & Children's Church

This is an exciting service as our children learn to pray, worship and learn about God's Word in their classrooms.  There are fun times too with activities and games.  This is under the direction of Sis. Teresa Ortiz and with several of the other ladies assisting her.  As a growing church, visitors are always welcome to be a part of this exciting part of our assembly.

In the Sanctuary, anointed singing leads up to the lesson taught by anointed ministers.  We are experiencing a move and a presence of God unequalled in many years.  We invite all to come "taste and see . . ."

Sunday 5:00 PM   Evangelistic service:  Worship and Word

This is our Sunday Evening service when we all come together to worship, sing, pray and hear the preaching of the Word of God.  Our Pastor, Rev. Denzil Holman and other qualified ministers officiate in these services.  Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to come and allow God to minister to them in these services.

Wednesday 7:00 PM  Bible Study

This is an exciting service as we delve into the Word of God for details, scripture reference, and depth.  We learn that "Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way." Psalms 119:104 (KJV)  We know the Bible is our road map to a better place, and how can we know the way if we don't study.

Also, we are commanded to "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Tim 2:15 (KJV)

About Us

"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."  (John 7:39)

The Spirit of God is likened unto a river of water.  In Ezekiel, there was life wherever the water flowed.  Water flows downhill and the Spirit of God comes down from God to dwell within our hearts.  The Spirit of God has a refreshing, cleansing, satisfying effect when it indwells us.  We have named our church "The River of Life Fellowship" and we believe the Spirit of God transforms lives.

When we repent of our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of those trespasses and transgressions.  When we are baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, our sins are remitted and removed.  With a clean vessel, we seek for the infilling of His Spirit, the River of Life to flow into our souls.  As the initial evidence that He has come into our lives to reside, we will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

With this power we are able to live clean overcoming lives, and we strive to do just that.  We strive to keep a standard of dress that we feel is conducive to godly living, keeping with modesty, not vain, and being an example to others who would live a godly life.
